Pilot manual

OBJECTIVE

Hold the forge for as long as you can. Every 40 seconds the swarm speeds up and a boss arrives. Pick a run upgrade after each round.

CONTROLS

WASD or arrow keys move. Hold Space to auto-fire. Press B to spend full heat on a forge blast. Shift dashes through enemies. Touch controls are available on mobile.

ENEMIES

Gnats chase you. Rams lock on and lunge. Leeches drain your heat when close. Bosses fire volleys, charge down a lane and breathe out swarms, and get angry below half health.

ESCALATION

Each level increases enemy speed, health, and spawn rate. Extra bosses appear every three levels; elite enemies arrive after level five.

PROGRESSION

Scores, coins, playtime, purchases and collections are saved in this browser. Earn a new hull every seven minutes of total play.

FIELD TIP

Never hold still

Edges give you a quick escape route, but a large swarm can trap you. Save your blast for a boss telegraph, and skim bullets to recharge it.
